Hello, I’m Kenda Dougherty, owner of WITH Therapy Services. I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 15 years and have experience in private and educational settings. When I am not hanging out at WITH, I am usually spending time with my family. We love hiking, biking, and all things sports.

I am passionate about providing individuals with the communication skills they need to develop and maintain relationships and be active learners in their daily lives. My specialty is pediatrics, and I am so excited to collaborate with other local professionals to develop children’s speech, language, and social skills through play and to support them and their families every step of the way at WITH.

Hi there! My name is Julia McCabe. I graduated from the Speech & Language Pathology program at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

 

My specialties in speech therapy cover a wide variety of areas, as I enjoy both pediatrics and geriatrics. I am very passionate about family centered, play-based therapy & am especially a firm believer in getting to know the patient as a whole. My goal at the beginning of one’s speech journey is to first develop a strong and caring relationship with the individual and their family, and from there, dive deeper into the oh so many aspects of speech therapy.

 

I provide individualized therapy for children focusing on feeding (using a sensory-based approach), swallowing, and oral motor skills.

 

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, being active, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling!

Hi, I’m Christine Dauck. I have been a speech therapist for more than 15 years. During that time I have worked in educational settings with elementary and preschool aged kids. I have LOTS of personal and work experience with Autism. I love collaborating with families and teachers to help kids accomplish their goals and participate in activities!

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids. I love hiking with my dog, Bernie, and gardening! I also love sitting down with a good book and a cup of coffee!

Hi, I’m Sophie and I graduated from University of Northern Iowa for both my undergraduate and graduate education to become a Speech-Language Pathologist.
To me, being an SLP means connecting with my clients and their families, supporting my clients growth through play-based therapy, and helping my clients to see their own potential by showing them the world is full of possibility.

 

My experience comes from the high school, acute rehab, and clinic settings, where each location has helped me to grow to be the clinician I am today. I’m so excited about continuing to grow myself and support the growth of my clients, here at WITH! My favorite thing about being an SLP is that every day there is something different or
new to look forward to.
 

When I am not wearing my SLP hat, I like to spend time with my two dachshunds at home while we watch movies or read a book. My family and I like to go camping, go on walks whenever we can, and eat ice cream!

​​​Hello, I’m Krista Alexander and I am the patient care coordinator here at WITH. My son had been receiving speech therapy services with Kenda while he was in preschool, and we were blown away to see him come out of his shell once he learned how to better express himself through speech. I joined the WITH team in 2022 after working in EMS for 13 years, and I love it here! In my spare time, I love being outside with my family and our dog, camping, spending time on the water, and gardening. And anything hockey during the winter months.

​​​Hi! My name is Brenna Sommer, and I am the Clinic Aide here at WITH. I will be attending graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology at Minnesota State University - Mankato in the fall of 2026. In my future career as an SLP, I hope to create and foster meaningful connections through communication.

I am so grateful to be a part of the talented team at WITH. I was immediately drawn to the welcoming and supportive atmosphere at WITH, as well as the promise of learning new things everyday. I look forward to helping in any way I can, whether it’s cleaning up toys or assisting the therapists with sessions!

In my free time, I enjoy being outside and working with animals on my family’s farm. I have grown up showing livestock with my siblings, so that takes up many of my weekends in the summertime! I also love spending time with my family and friends, eating ice cream, and taking walks outside.

Hi, I’m Bauer! Ms. Kenda’s hockey-loving family named me this in the middle of 2022 when I joined her at WITH. I am a happy Goldendoodle who loves all people and helps with therapy sessions!

Did you know that interacting with animals like me can help reduce anxiety and depression while improving motivation, engagement, security, and emotional support during therapy sessions?

I’m the perfect addition to these sessions because I love hanging out with people and helping them feel calmer and more confident. I understand that therapy sessions can be challenging, but I have a special bond with my WITH family, and I help to make learning playful and enjoyable!
